Student Statement: This is a tree made by a 3D Pen. This tree is made from PLA (PolyLactic Acid) plastic which is made of a corn-based or vegetable oil. This tree is biodegradable (recyclable) and it shows that you can make art with plastic and it will still be safe for the environment. This tree also represents how we can grow as a person. We start off as a sapling and as we grow older and learn from our mistakes. We can become this tree.
