We are proud to have your family join our 2021 Mele Murals Online Summer Program of 4 weeks of Online Visual Arts and Hawaiian Curriculum, where students will learn all about how to create with various visual art mediums and integrate meditation, mindfulness, and kilo (observation) into their creations. This summer, our theme revolves around the meaning of sharing “Aloha.”

Our online program is for students ages 8 – 10 years old, entering the 3rd to 5th grades.

Class DatesJune 14th to July 9th, 2021 (July 5th will be a Holiday)
Program Hours9:00 am – 11:00 am – Hawaii Time
Cost$480.00 for 4 weeks (discounts available for siblings)
Registration DatesNow – June 4th, 2021. Space is limited and is on a first come first serve basis.

All Online Classes will be hosted via Zoom. Registration covers all costs of art supplies.

With the success of last yearʻs Mele Murals Online Summer Program, we are offering our Online Summer Program again for students that want to create and learn about Hawaiian culture at the convenience of being in their homes. The beauty of our 4 week Online Only program is that students and families do not have to live on Oahu, Hawaii to participate! All art supplies will also be mailed to studentsʻ homes.

Students will strengthen their understanding of the multiple meanings of “Aloha” and brighten their households with their artwork that will stem from daily lessons. Students will also practice mindfulness with meditation and reflection sessions. Students will learn to harness their mana (energy) and use their voice to express their mana‘o (mind) to become the next generation of visual storytellers.

Tuition is $480 for 4 weeks. Scholarships for the entire program are available for native Hawaiian students, families on the HIDOE Free Lunch Program, and students needing financial support. Discounts also available for multiple siblings in the same family or household. For native Hawaiian students, please do not hit the “Add to Cart” below and Register with us by hitting this GoogleForm Link.
